Rams skills challenge

Thursday, August 18 - Chinook Middle School

This is our most important fundraiser of the season...Funds raised cover end of season banquets, team awards, league fees, Rams equipment, etc.  100% of the funds go directly to our 2011 football and cheer teams. Football players participate in a punt, kick, and pass challenge, and cheerleaders participate in the cartwheel, jump and cheer challenge. Click here for information & pledge form.  Players and cheerleaders have until August 18th to gather pledges on the attached form from family and friends. Parents are encouraged to come and join in the fun. This competition creates a lively and engaging activity for everyone in the Rams program to compete separately against their peers. Individual and team prizes will be awarded on Tues., August 23rd.

What do our fundraising dollars account for?

• We are required to pay TCYFL $300 per each team (Minors – SV) in our Franchise for field use and officials.
• We provide a full 1st aid kit and replenish it through-out the season.
• We provide beanies (helmet covers for scrimmages) for the practice field.
• We provide tackling dummies of all sizes for the practice field.
• We provide practice footballs for each team.
• We purchase food for our concessions.
• We purchase food for our “team building” nights.
• We rent a storage unit to make sure our fanwear and concessions stays in one place during the season and in- the off-season.
• We provide the cheerleaders with pom-poms and socks.
• We want to update our tackling dummies.
• We want to provide a better sound system for our cheerleaders.
• We provide full scholarships to those who do not qualify with TCYFL but actually qualify by our standards.
• For those that do qualify with TCYFL for scholarships, we are require to pay the other half.
• We make signs, provide ice and make hand-outs.
• We sponsor a Rams yearly coaches clinic.
• We provide Full Helmet Repair Kits and replenish through the season.
• We provide the coaches with their gear.
